Mrs. Parker has been a part of the Sojourn Academy community since 2009 when she enrolled her two daughters in the ELA program at the school (formerly called the Mother's Day Out program). With a background in website development and internet marketing, as the Communications Coordinator for the school she lends her talents to help further the reach and impact of school events, academic achievements, and student life.
She also has a great love for the arts of Speech and Debate, and she shares her love for both as teacher of the Speech and Debate elective class for Upper School. It is an excellent place to practice all the rules of logic and exercise those critical thinking skills, plus learn all the fundamentals to how to create a thesis presentation, which is the final academic presentation our Seniors must successfully present prior to graduation.
Mrs. Parker is passionate about the Classical Education model, as approached through a Christ-centered, Trinitarian worldview. You will see her face not only in the front office, but also attending the parents' book club, Parent Association meetings, and much more.
